Brian Westrin serves as Michigan Realtors® Director of Public Policy & Legal Affairs. His role at Michigan Realtors® encompasses a concentration in Fair Housing Law and Education, RESPA Compliance and Education, policing Unlicensed Real Estate Practice, Mortgage Fraud, and Publications and is an active lobbyist at the Capitol in Lansing.
20 years as the Director of the Rental Property Owners Association of Kent County and 18 years as the Director of the Rental Property Owners Association of Michigan. Before that, he was in economic development and commercial real estate for 15 years in Indiana and Michigan. He has also served on various community organizations focused on homelessness, lead poisoning, affordable housing, literacy and justice.

Patrick H. Burtch, Ph.D., has worked for the City of Jackson since May 2011. He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Toledo in 1986, his Masters of Public Administration from the University of Toledo in 1988, and his Doctorate of Philosophy in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University in June 2011.

Sandy worked for Michigan State Housing Development Authority for 26 years before she left to chase her dream of being a real estate developer. After working that first deal, she was hooked. Owning and managing just under 200 units, she’s always looking for that next great deal.
Sandy is 2018 President of Rental Property Owners Association of Mid-Michigan assisting other investors. She’s also a broker with Preview Properties assisting buyers and sellers and Broker/Owner of Sandy’s Property Management, LLC, assisting those who need a property manager.
